Epic Brand is based out of Manayunk, which is a town in the northwestern section of the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Manayunk has an epic nightlife full of restless young professionals and college students. The town's Main Street is full of restaurants, bars and specialty stores with stylish boutiques. After the shoes initial popularity was created due to basketball player Chuck Taylor in the 1950's, these shoes became popular yet again in the 90's amongst fans of Nirvana. Nirvana's front man, Curt Cobain, wore Chucks on a daily basis due to rock stars wearing them while he was growing up. Jeans

The premium denim industry has been more than effected by the economy's reccession but when it comes down to it, jeans are jeans and people pay for not only the quality but for the status as well. A couple of years ago, the basic price for a pair of premium denim was around $300. Now you can get a nice pair for $200 if not less.

Since Epic Brand is not only promoting designer brand clothing but a lifestyle as well, we only thought it would be appropriate to have a cool sound track so we are working on a playlist with songs that fit the style of our brand.

We are perfecting men's and women's graphic tee designs so we can start the manufacturing process. Once this is complete and we have our first few products under the Epic Brand label we will throw a launch party at one of the hot spots on Main Street in Manayunk.
