Urban fashion is different from mainstream fashion because it doesn’t follow the typical everyday trends. With it’s main components of individuality and a young culture, urban fashion is evolving rapidly with unpredictable trends. With influences from several aspects of each culture and style worldwide, urban fashion becomes a very colorful and distinct style.

Embracing Today’s Designers & Artists

Another difference between urban and mainstream fashion is the stance of designers. Most urban fashion designs are more practical, which in turn, are more likely to have their clothes worn on a daily basis. This has played an integral part of the foundation of which Epic Brand was built on and is the reason why we created the Designer & Artist Marketing Project, also known as DAMP. Aside from clothing and accessories, we have extended this project to all Artists, including those of not only art but music as well because we feel they all go hand-in-hand.

There are many fashion designers out there that have incredible talent and ideas for clothing designs. The only problem is that they don’t know where to start as far as getting their product and name into the fashion industry mix. This is where Epic Brand steps in because we are providing online portfolios to anyone that is designing urban style clothing and allows these items to be posted for sale as well.
