NEW / Epic Brand Trucker Hats / Specialty and Designer Brands

Epic Brand's first hat is finally available exclusively at their online store. This low profile 5-panel trucker hat includes a mesh back, cotton front with the screen printed Epic Brand logo, adjustable snap back for a one size fits all and comes with a flat brim. We are already designing a new hat that will be a retro 6-panel trucker hat that will feature our new iconic design that is still to be finalized. All we can say is that it is going to be simple but sophisticated and unique at the same time, which is how we like to describe Epic Brand as a whole.

Slowly but surely, Epic Brand has been coming out with new items every couple of months, whether they are graphic tees, sunglasses or hats but you should be seeing the product base increase dramatically over the next month or so. Although there are a few Epic Brand products in various stages of design and manufacturing like premium denim jeans, basic tees, hats and other accessories, there have been talks about joining forces with some of the more popular specialty retailer brands and designer brands in order to provide their customers with a selection of actual "epic brand" clothing.

You may have already seen the men's and women's Michael Kors watches that we have posted in our clearance section for a mere $130 with free shipping. We aren't just going to add any specialty or designer fashion item on our website either. NEW / DJ Jonny Law graphic tee by epic brand

It leaked out to the public that the first DJ Jonny Law graphic tee had already been manufactured about a week before the product even went live on the website so it’s great to see a buzz both about Epic Brand as well as DJ Jonny Law. Similar to our DAMP graphic tee, this 4.2 oz. semi-fitted 100% cotton t-shirt will definitely be one of those comfortable tees that you find yourself wearing all the time.

DJ Jonny Law is working on yet another epic mix that he says will “blow windows out of houses and cars when played properly.” If that doesn’t get you excited then I don’t know what does but this mix must be at the top of his game because it will be the first mix that is played on Eclectic Radio out of the Netherlands. This is just the beginning and a preview of what is about to happen in the future of DJ Jonny Law’s career. Speaking of t-shirts, we have received some solid feedback about our men’s graphic tees that have confirmed a tweak or two that our design team has been considering. Our semi-fitted graphic tees give the t-shirt a sense of a slim fit when we originally were entertaining the idea of more of an athletic cut. The main difference between this is that the athletic cut gives you more room in the shoulders and chest area. By going this route, these shirts will basically fit any body type comfortably. Epic Brand has just introduced a new graphic t-shirt modeled after their Designer and Artist Marketing Program, commonly referred to as DAMP. This graphic t-shirt will be available exclusively online and will be posted by the end of the week along with another graphic tee. DAMP / designer & artist marketing project

When Epic Brand was initially launched in 2010, it had it's eyes set on much more than just starting a clothing company so they got involved with fashion designers, whether they were established or new to the industry of retail and fashion but had amazing handmade designs none-the-less.

Over the past 2 years, the pioneers of Epic Brand have ran into many different designers and so many were incredibly talented. These creative minds didn't just design clothes either. Some people made awesome canvas paintings, others made abstract art and there were some insane graphic designers along the way as well.

Meeting these people created inspiration to develop the Designer & Artist Marketing Project, commonly referred to as DAMP, which is a revolutionary concept that will be forever evolving. Since Epic Brand isn't just a clothing line but a lifestyle, they decided to take it one step farther and not only get involved with fashion designers and creators of art but artists of music as well.

Fashion and music will always go hand-in-hand for as long as we live so Epic Brand wanted to give back to both by creating a project where designers and artists of any and all types could showcase their creative minds and incredible abilities.

Epic Brand is proud to present DJ Jonny Law’s newest tribal track entitled EPIC BRAND CLOTHING PROMO MIX. In the words of DJ Jonny Law, “This mix defines tribal house at its core. Drums and bass are everyone’s friend! Enjoy!”

Epic Brand and DJ Jonny Law (aka John Shultz) both have major plans for the future not only within the Continental US but internationally as well.

"John is a great person to have on board. We want to do everything right the first time here at Epic Brand. There are too many business ventures within the specialty retail industry that have gone south due to poor planning and lack of patience. It’s going to be a while before we get to where we want to be but we are ok with that because it will be all so worth it in the end. ABOUT DJ JONNY LAW:

Since the late 80s and early 90s, EDM has been a staple in John’s life. He was first exposed to EDM by going to a rave on a whim in the DC area. Once he was exposed to Junior Vasquez, Danny Tenaglia, and Josh Wink, it was soon after that EDM became the love of his life.

John attended club after club and rave after rave, and still couldn’t get enough. “I couldn’t believe that this many people could pack into one space and feel so many different emotions from listening to the same track. “ In the 90s, he hit the Philly dance scene with force and made sure he attended all the hottest events and immersed himself in different types of EDM. Drum and bass was his first love.

He was a fixture at 611 Records every weekend buying everything he could get his hands on, asking all kinds of silly questions regarding mixing and DJing. He thanks the people at 611 for helping a suburban kid understand the city life and culture. “I remember going into 611 and having all the big boys in the Philly scene really helping me out. From Mike Panic to Sean Michaels to Nigel Richards, they really made an outside guy feel welcomed.” But when John started going to Shampoo and Evolution, that’s when things got REALLY heavy. “I can credit Adrock and Rob Lee for really getting me pulled in. Rob Lee completely changed the way I thought about house music and the way he played Saturday nights was second to none in Philly.“

Taking trips to NYC almost every weekend for Junior-Verse, The Tunnel, the Sound Factory and many other places, hooked John. To this day, John is still in love with house music and we don’t see a divorce ANY time soon. Look out for DJ Jonny Law in 2012, as it should be a HUGE year for his production work and the world of DJ’s in general.
